Studio Avano is a visual storytelling studio founded by photographer and creative director Anouck Andes.
We create cinematic photography and motion for distinctive stays, restaurants and experiences — with a focus on atmosphere, human presence and the moments that often happen just outside the obvious.

01 — OUR APPROACH
OBSERVATION
We prefer to notice rather than manufacture.
A member of staff preparing the terrace before breakfast. Someone crossing a patch of sunlight. Water moving after a swimmer has passed.
Small moments can tell us as much about a place as the perfect hero shot.
SUGGESTION
Not everything needs to be revealed.
We use framing, shadow, movement and off-screen space to leave room for curiosity.
A strong image can show enough to draw someone in while leaving just enough unseen to make them want to discover the rest.
ATMOSPHERE
Light is part of the story.
We don't believe every corner needs to be evenly lit or every surface perfectly presented.
Shadow, texture, weather, movement and changing light give places depth.
The aim is never darkness for the sake of mood.
It is to preserve what the moment actually felt like.

02 — ABOUT ANOUCK
A background in people. A fascination with place.
Before working in photography and creative direction, Anouck trained and worked in psychology.
That background still shapes how she approaches image-making today.
Rather than looking only at composition, interiors or aesthetics, she is interested in perception: where the eye travels, what makes something feel intimate, what creates curiosity and why certain moments stay with us.
Studio Avano grew from the meeting point between that psychological perspective and a longstanding fascination with photography, interiors, hospitality and visual storytelling.
